Supporting Heritage and Community: Contribute to the MRHHA Initiatives

We are in the process of applying for charitable status in order to provide tax receipts for donations. In the meantime, we have partnered with the Trinity Centres Foundation in order to be able to issue tax receipts for both Canadian and American donations.

You can direct your donations to the More than 350 Initiative Fund or to the Sharon Murdoch Memorial Fund for the Restoration of Old St. Thomas Church.

Learn about the Sharon Murdoch Memorial Fund which the family of the Rev. Canon James P. Scanlon (Jim) invites you to join them in making a contribution. This historic, carpenter gothic style Anglican church, which opened in 1885 and is centrally located on the island, will become the future hub for the Cree community. The Murdoch family made a memorial donation of $100,000 for the restoration of Old St Thomas from the estate of the Very Rev. Sharon Murdoch, with the request that the Moose River Heritage and Hospitality Association (MRHHA) match their donation.
